Comic AI turns an idea into a finished comic strip
Comic AI is a free web studio for making multi-panel comics from a few sentences. Describe a story and the site writes a panel-by-panel script, keeps the characters looking the same from panel to panel, draws every panel in the art style you choose, and letters it with captions and speech bubbles. Every comic on this page was made that way by someone in the community.
From idea to script
Start with a premise, a joke or a memory. The script model expands it into a short story, breaks it into panels, usually eight, and writes each panel's scene and dialogue, keeping every line short enough for a speech bubble. You can rewrite any panel before a single image is drawn.
Characters that stay themselves
Each comic gets a character bible: a short, fixed description of every recurring character's face, hair, build and clothes. It travels with every panel's image prompt, so the hero in the last panel still looks like the hero in the first, even after you redraw a panel.
An art style for every story
Pick one of ten presets that follow the history of the medium, from Golden Age superhero inks and the European clear line to manga, noir and underground comix, or describe a style of your own. The comic styles guide explains what defines each one.
